Independent Living Program – Eligibility & Intake Requirements
Basic Eligibility
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older

Valid government-issued ID required (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport, or Birth Certificate)
Family Composition:

Single individuals

Married couples
-
Parents with children (maximum of 2 children per household)
Income Requirements:
Must have a verifiable and stable source of income, including:

Employment (part-time or full-time)
-
SSI (Supplemental Security Income)
-
SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance)
-
Social Security benefits
Minimum income should be sufficient to cover monthly program fees
Background Screening:

Criminal background check required
-
No recent violent offenses, arson, or sex offenses
-
Rental history may be reviewed
Additional Criteria:

Must be able to live independently with minimal supervision

Must agree to house rules, curfew, and program guidelines
-
No active substance abuse (may require screening or proof of sobriety if applicable)

Willingness to participate in program check-ins or case management
Length of Stay

Minimum Stay: 30 days

Maximum Stay: 4 months

Extensions may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on progress and availability
Costs & Fees
Room Rates:

Shared Room: $750/month
-
Single Room: $1,200/month
Security Deposit:

Equal to half of the monthly room rate
